Stoke-on-Trent City Council has partnered with VXFIBER, using VXFIBER Open Access platform to support full fiber broadband connectivity for residents and businesses.
VXFIBER and its Open Access platform to build fiber network will become a best model to support the aim to transform the city. As a part of the preliminary project, Stoke-on-Trent City Council plans to extend Gigabit connectivity to Ceramic Valley Enterprise Zone.
Councillor Abi Brown, said “The traditional part copper doesn’t meet demands of today’s increasingly digital society and economy. While Gigabit connectivity can meet the pace.”
VXFIBER Open Access platform will offer higher value and lower cost that meets to the aim of supporting the disadvantaged people to access broadband. What’s more, the platform also encourages the healthy competition among the supplier and offer more choices for the user.
Through this model, the developers and other land owners, including the housing association can ensure their benefit from full fiber network.
