In today's rapidly developing society, enterprises, as a member of the society, not only undertake the heavy responsibility of economic development, but also shoulder the responsibility of giving back to the society and caring for the vulnerable groups. On August 29,2024, OPELINK actively responded to the call of the society, and joined hands with Lide Liren Volunteer Association to jointly launch a public welfare activity to visit Yantian Elderly Home, explaining the social responsibility and responsibility of the enterprise with practical actions.
In order to ensure the smooth progress of the activity, OPELINK staff made careful preparations and specially purchased fresh and delicious fruits, nutritious milk and favorite biscuits for the elderly and other materials, hoping to bring a real heart to the elderly. We know that although these simple items are not enough to fully solve all the needs of the elderly, but what they carry is our deep care and respect for the elderly group.
On the day of the event, OPELINK representatives went to the elderly home with the volunteers. Upon arrival, we quickly distributed the materials to each old man, and talked with them kindly, asking them about their physical conditions and living conditions. The faces of the old people are filled with happy smiles, they feel the warmth and care from OPELINK, but also feel the respect and recognition of the society.
During the visit, the volunteers also organized a series of colorful interactive activities: inviting the elderly to participate in singing, doing handwork and other recreational activities, so that they spent a happy afternoon in laughter. At the same time, OPELINK volunteers also introduced the knowledge of healthy diet, daily health care and other aspects to the elderly, hoping to help them take better care of themselves and enjoy a healthy and happy life in their later years.
After the activity, the OPELINK staff helped the grandparents back to their dormitory.
This activity not only made the elderly feel the care and warmth from the enterprise, but also made the OPELINK employees deeply understand the significance and value of public welfare activities. OPELINK as an enterprise, we should not only pursue the growth of economic benefits, but also actively fulfill our social responsibilities, pay attention to the living conditions of the vulnerable groups in society, and provide them with help and support within our capacity.
