1x2 Fiber Optic PM PBS Polarization Beam Combiner / Splitter

Item No.: Y-FO-FS-010
The Polarization Beam Combiner / Splitter PBC / PBS can be used either as a polarization beam combiner to combine light beams from two PM input fibers into a single output fiber
Description Parameters Company Profile Related Product
Description:
The Polarization Beam Combiner / Splitter PBC / PBS can be used either as a polarization beam combiner to combine
light beams from two PM input fibers into a single output fiber, or as a polarization beam splitter to split light from an input
fiber into two output fibers of orthogonal polarization states.

The splitters feature a rugged miniature housing to fit into compact spaces in equipment and systems. Light from a fiber is
first collimated, then sent through a beamsplitting optic to divide it into two beams by either a fixed ratio or into two orthogonal
polarizations. The resultant output beams are then coupled back into the output fibers.
