What Is Fiber Jumper?
The fiber Jumper is a length of fiber optic cable terminated at both ends with connectors that allow it to be rapidly and conveniently connected to telecommunication equipment. Whether they are called a Fiber patchcord, Fiber patch cable.

The figure below shows the SC-LC singlemode Fiber jumper:

From the photo we can see that this patch cord is made up of a 2.0mm simplex fiber cable and SC/UPC + LC/UPC connectors. Inside the cable is the 9/125 singlemode G652D fiber, and the outer sheath is yellow. As for the total length, it can be customized according to customer requirements.

The outer shell of SC type optical fiber connector is rectangular, and the end face mostly uses UPC or APC type grinding method, the fastening method is plug-in type. The ferrule of the SC connector is inside the connector. We can distinguish them easily from the color, the blue color connector usually is UPC type.
