Introduction of 1X2 Optical Fiber PLC Splitter Products
1X2 PLC splitter
The PLC Splitter is a basic fiber optical products. It’s composed of ABS housing , 2.0mm pigtail/3.0mm pigtails and SC/FC/LC/ST fiber optical connectors. There are 1 input and 2 output for each items.PLC fiber splitter are used to separate or combine optical signals. A PLC is a micro-optical component based on planar lightwave circuit technology and provides a low cost light distribution solution with small form factor and high reliability.
PLC splitters have high quality performance, such as low insertion loss, low PDL, high return loss and excellent uniformity over a wide wavelength range from 1260 nm to 1620 nm and have an operating temperature -40℃ to 85℃. When high split counts are needed and small package size and low insertion loss is critical, a PLC splitter is more ideal.
ABS BOX housing
ABS box housing is a most common type. The size and weight are bigger than the steel tube type. But it can meet your need of the 2.0mm and 3.00 pigtails need.
Coupling ratio
Compared with FBT splitter,1x2 plc Splitter is only available in 50:50split ratios.
Pigtail
Besides,as for the pigtails type , there are 4 choices for you ,including:0.9mm pigtails ,bare fiber,2.0mm pigtail and 3.0mmpigtail. Compared to the steel tube type. it can offer you more choices if you have the special need of the pigtails. Besides, the ABS type will be more safer than steel tube type during the shipment.
Application
1x2 ABS PLC Splitters are avaliable in optical communication system, online monitoring system, PON (passive optical network) and CATV solution.
