Fiber optic patch cord is one of Opelink’s main products. There are many types of patch cord, and MPO Harness Cables are a special kind of them.
The ferrule of the MPO (Multi fiber push on) connector uses two guide holes with a diameter of 0.7mm on the left and right sides of the ferrule end face to accurately connect with the guide pin. MPO connectors and fiber optic cables can be combined into various forms of MPO patch cord. MPO patch cord can be made into 2~12 cores and up to 24 cores, and currently the most used type is 12-cores MPO connector.
MPO fiber patch cords are divided into transfer type and non-transfer type. There are many types of MPO patch cords, such as distribution MPO patch cords, break out MPO patch cords, and fiber cable fanned out by the break out unit. The type of connector to be transferred is determined according to the customer's requirements. FC, LC, SC, ST and other types can be selected. The total length of the MPO jumper or branch length is also determined according to the customer's needs.
